Business Park Ypres

In Ypres, Hexagon has purchased a site that used to be home to livestock feed producer Cibus. Cibus merged with Leievoeders in 2018, leaving its old site empty. The 12,925m² site by the banks of the Oostkaai in Ypres has several bonus points for Hexagon. Not only is it a prime location in the city centre, it is also a lovely spot right by the waters of the Ieperlee. The first task is to map out what is truly needed in the area, by means of a comprehensive study. An application has also been submitted for the Brownfield covenant. The covenant was set up by the Government of Flanders to stimulate development, in particular on underused sites.
